hello from the mountaintop! the headline above comes from an email i sent to a friend; intending to write “i live on top of a mountain,” i came out with this instead. sometimes the subconscious mind (or the lazy fingers?) can say things much better than my ego ever would. ♦ i'm here in marlboro, vt studying and working harder than ever, and writing secret songs in my bedroom when i think no one is listening, preparing for their grand unveiling when i finally have another show to play! i've also developed the endearing and irritating habit of carrying a ukulele with me EVERYWHERE and making half of my interactions with people into songs. expect increased ukulele magic at future concerts. ♦ speaking of which, i am not far off from returning to see you all again and play some nice hometown concerts! watch for me at zingerman's roadhouse and crazy wisdom at the end of may. i can't wait! i miss playing for you buddycats.
